SUMMARY:MPC Part 2: Introduction to School Age (preschool to elementary) Paediatric Care
DESCRIPTION:This course is for Registered Massage Therapists only \nThis workshop will focus on working with school aged children. We will discuss the tools and communication skills with the child\, parents and healthcare teams. We will also discuss the developmental changes through preschool to elementary school. Treatment will focus on adapting treatment for common musculoskeletal issues\, common pain conditions\, autoimmune presentations and post surgical care. Precautions\, scope of practice and ethical considerations are discussed. \nA 2-day course running on Saturday March 11th and Sunday March 12th from 9am-4pm \n  \n
