DESCRIPTION:This course is for Registered Massage Therapists only \nThis workshop will focus on working with youth and teens. We will discuss the tools and communication skills with the teen\, parents and healthcare teams. We will also discuss the developmental changes through puberty. Treatment will focus on adapting treatment for common musculoskeletal issues\, common pain conditions\, autoimmune presentations and post surgical care. Special considerations for mental health challenges. Precautions\, scope of practice and ethical considerations are discussed. \n
