DESCRIPTION:This course is for registered massage therapists only. This course is accredited by the College of Massage Therapists for 14 PE credits. We will be covering topics of labour preparation\, labour\, delivery. As well as the common complaints\, drug usage\, positioning and attending a birth. Assessment and treatment of common presentations in the postpartum period will be discussed and practiced. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. \n
