The learner will review hands on skills and positioning as well as palpation for height of the fundus and diastasis recti test. The learner will have the opportunity to practice performing a full treatment and techniques on a pregnant client. This course will run from 9am-4pm. The course cost is $262.50 >21 days or $300 <21 days before the start date of the course. **Prerequisite is Part 1 pregnancy**

We will be covering topics of pregnancy, common obstetrical complaints, assessment and treatment protocols and some labour preparation. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed.   The course cost is $525 >21 days or $600 <21 days before the start date of the course.      

The learner will review boundaries, verbal and written communication skills and dealing with difficult conversations and ethical dilemmas. This workshop will include writing patient reports, writing boundary setting letters, writing dismissal letters and practicing verbal responses to disclosures of sensitive nature, difficult interactions and solidifying personal boundaries and comfort zones. This course will run from 9am-4pm. The course cost is $262.50 >21 days or $300 <21 days before the start date of the course.

This course is for registered massage therapists only.  We will be covering topics of labour preparation, labour, delivery. As well as the common complaints, drug usage, positioning and attending a birth. Assessment and treatment of common presentations in the postpartum period will be discussed and practiced. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. The course cost is $525 >21 days or $600 <21 days before the start date of the course.  

We will be covering topics of treatment, positioning and protocol. As well as the common complaints, we will be discussing possible complications of surgery and common treatment protocols. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. Reviewing the Cesarean Section pages in the Labour, Birth and Postpartum workbook will be very helpful. We will be covering topics of infant massage, positioning and protocol. Our focus will be teaching infant massage to parents, for a healthy infant. As well as the common complaints, positioning and pediatrics will be addressed. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. We will also have a component for how to set up your own workshops, what to charge and who to market to.
