We will be covering topics of infant massage, positioning and protocol. Our focus will be teaching infant massage to parents, for a healthy infant. As well as the common complaints, positioning and pediatrics will be addressed. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. We will also have a component for how to set up your own workshops, what to charge and who to market to.  

Introduction to the complicated pregnancy will give the learner a foundation for massage therapists to understand presentations of complicated pregnancies. During the course we will look at understanding presentations, considerations with assessment and treatment planning. We will be discussing the most common placental, fetal and uterine issues. We will discuss fertility treatment and how massage therapy can support the process. Bring your curiosity and questions. We will be covering topics of pregnancy, common obstetrical complaints, assessment and treatment protocols and some labour preparation. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed.      

We will be covering topics of breast assessment, introductory breast treatment, positioning, draping and protocol. As well as the common prenatal and postpartum breast complaints. Contraindications and precautions will also be addressed. Note: You need to take Pt. 6 before Pt. 7 , but you can take Pt 6 & Pt 7 in the same weekend.
